MIA COMES HOME!!!!!

This is Mia! Mia came home from Guatemala this weekend into the arms of Mark and Erin Slawikowski (our wonderful friends and neighbors). She absolutley rocks! Her eyes and hair are black as night; her skin and smile are soft and warm. The contrasts are incredible.... There is a good chance that Kendall and Mia will grow together for the rest of their lives. So, we let them warm up (shown below).

A Helping Hand

We weren't sure if Mia was helping or wanting. Regardless, it made a very cute picture.

Don't ever buy tickets to infant wrestling... it's not very exciting.

Mia is 7 weeks older than Kendall. As a result, there are some ability differences between the two girls. Kendall is unable to roll over and push off her stomach.

Kendall and Mia holding hands and sharing a laugh....

Two proud mamas!

Kendall decided to lay her head in my hand. The gushing sound you hear is my heart.....

Daddy-Daughter Valentines Picture. Did you know that it was on Valentines Day of last year that we learned Ashley was pregnant? Now that's good trivia!

See this look? I have a feeling I am going to get this look A LOT! ....accompanied with "I didn't do it!"

Kendall takes a closer look at her rattle. She has figured out how to get a good grip on it; the problem is on the release.

Brian (better known as Stiffler) finally meets Kendall! I think Brian melted a little this day.

Great Grandma Smith was getting an ear full....

Kendall's first shoulder ride. ....and this is exactly why Stiffler will never be left unsupervised with my daughter.

Cousin Lily found a week old bottle behind the rocking chair with some milk left over. She decided Kendall was probably hungry. So rather than us stopping her, we decided to take pictures of it. Kendall puked shortly thereafter.

Aunt Allison came up from South Carolina to hang with Kendall. By the way, that is bamboo behind them (not what you were thinking).

Look at those eyes. I don't stand a chance!

Kendall recently held her first Super Bowl party. She was a gracious host. She made everyone feel welcome. She even put on her MSU shirt that Lori got her for Christmas.

Ray is a Michigan fan....

The uncommon Daddy Daughter picture. Usually, Dad hogs the camera.... I hope she always enjoys being in my arms!

Kendall was the guest of honor at a recent Red Robin dinner outing. Appearing with Kendall are Aunt Kris and Uncle Joe, both stellar relatives!
